Richard Pomeroy - cowslip yellow tea light

£35

The cobalt blue tea light in At the Chapel are made by Richard Pomeroy and assistants in his workshop in Bruton. They are hand-built from porcelain by rolling out the clay and folding it around a base rather than using a wheel. The result of this unusual method of making is that each piece is individual. The pots are bisque fired, then dipped in glazes and fired to over 1200C.

Richard Pomeroy Porcelain is dishwasher and microwave safe - but be aware of thermal shock - do not pour boiling water straight into porcelain without warming the vessel first or putting a little cold water or milk in first. High fired porcelain is vitrified and shares many of the same properties as glass.
